Data handled
The extension handles only the information needed for a transfer initiated by the user:
- The URL and bytes of the image selected through the browser context menu.
- The origin domain of the page where the action occurred.
- The selected destination: Tripo3D or Meshy.
How data is used
This information is used only to place the selected image into the platform chosen by the user.
- Images are held temporarily in the browser’s local IndexedDB and expire after 15 minutes.
- A successfully handed-off image is deleted immediately from extension storage.
- For Tripo3D, the image is sent through Tripo3D’s official temporary upload flow before Studio opens with a short-lived handoff token.
- For Meshy, the image is placed into Meshy’s native workspace upload control for review.
- The image is shared only with the destination explicitly selected by the user.
Permissions
Persistent website access is limited to Tripo3D and Meshy, where the handoff takes place. Access to another image host is requested only after the user explicitly starts a transfer from that host. The extension does not monitor unrelated pages or browsing activity.
Authentication
The extension does not read, store, transmit, or modify passwords, cookies, session tokens, API keys, or payment information. Authentication remains entirely within Tripo3D or Meshy.
Analytics
The extension does not send analytics, telemetry, or usage profiles to a developer-controlled server.
Third-party services
Once the user selects a destination, the transferred image is also governed by that platform’s terms and privacy policy.
